Wrench, and other prominent Arms. Elecric Motors, Gas Engines, Etc. Manufacturers generally will be interested in the exhibits that fall under the above heading. Motors may be seen driving printing machinery, fans, hoists, etc., the firms represented being the Electro Motor and Dynamo Co., Electromotors, Ltd., F. A. Glover and Co., Ltd., F. W. Potter and Co.. and the Union Electric Co., Ltd. Theelectrir pulley block shown by the Electromotor and Dynamo Co., or 15, Gray's-inn-road, Holborn, W.C., has attached to it a reel of paper, and the ease of handling is well demonstrated. Gas engines, largely used in printing offices, are, owing to their enormous power, being adopted in large works. Exhibits are made by Kynoch, Ltd., Bilbie, Hobson and Co., Crossley Bros., Ltd., Thos. Glover and Co., Ltd., the National Gas Co., Ltd., and Tangyes, Ltd., the latter firm also showing "suction" producer, pump, and other appliances. Printing Machinery, Appliances, Etc. Typography and typefounding, lithography and metallography, mechanical process engraving and colour printing, and the latest typewriting machines all these things, and many besides, are represented in the show. The exhibition affords a striking object-lesson in the modern developments and improvements connected with the printing world, and to the uninitiated an inspection of such things as a Linotype machine, a Monotype, and a new machine capable, it is said, of dealing with type of any fount, cannot fail to prove interesting.
